Pursuant to SDCL 36-6A-52, failure to annually renew a license or registration on or before July 1^st results in the automatic suspension of that license or registration.  If you continue to practice in South Dakota, you are practicing without a license or registration and are subject to disciplinary action.

If you have inadvertantly missed the July 1 deadline, you may reinstate your license or registration and permit(s) until August 1^st by logging into your account and completing the renewal form. We encourage you to review your account prior to beginning the reinstatement process in order to verify that you meet your particular CPR or Continuing Education requirements. If you fail to reinstate your license by that date, and wish to return to practice, you will need to reapply as a new licensee and meeting all current licensing requirements.
