The South Dakota State Board of Dentistry hereby notifies its licensees and registrants of an upcoming office transition. After seventeen years of dedicated service, Executive Secretary Brittany Novotny has elected to step down from her role, and her firm will conclude its day-to-day management of Board operations effective June 26, 2026. The current administrative team remains fully committed to supporting a thoughtful, organized, and collaborative transition process that ensures continuity of operations and supports the continued success of the Board and those it serves.

To ensure the ongoing administration of the Board’s statutory duties, the Board issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) and subsequently awarded the contract to DM Management, LLC. Deni Martin and her team will assume management of Board operations beginning June 27, 2026. The Board office will relocate to 1760 Rand Road in Rapid City and will begin operating from that location on June 29, 2026.

The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Novotny and her team for their many years of dedicated and exemplary service. The Board remains committed to ensuring an organized transition and looks forward to continuing its important work with Deni Martin and her team.  Additional information regarding the transition will be provided as it becomes available.
