Draft updates to Teledentistry regulations are being presented for public input.  When reviewing the draft, anything with an overstrike is currently in regulation and being proposed for deletion.  Anything with an underline is not currently in regulation and is being proposed as an addition.  Other text is currently in effect and is not being changed.

Please note that additional telehealth (teledentistry) regulations currently in effect that pertain to all healthcare professionals can be found at SDCL 34-52.   

Stakeholder feedback on this draft can be submitted by completing the Stakeholder Feedback Form.  Feedback must be submitted by 1pm Central on September 22, 2025. Following that date, the feedback will be reviewed by the Board and the draft may be modified accordingly.
